We are thrilled to present a sizzling four-day extravaganza of performances and parties with a dazzling cast of innovative artists from all across the globe. Burlesque theatre has exploded as an art form since the creation of the The Toronto Burlesque and Vaudeville Alliance in 2003. Toronto performers are prominently showcased in the Toronto Burlesque Festival and have been joining the ranks of the world’s best since the festival launch in 2008. Toronto now boasts an incredible diversity of burlesque artistry to delight and inspire audiences all year long.
The Toronto Burlesque Festival is produced by Sauci Calla Horra of Skin Tight Outta Sight (Founder and Executive Producer; Founder of the Toronto Burlesque and Vaudeville Alliance), Coco Framboise (Executive Director of Programming & Creative Director), Charlie Quinn (Director of Digital Media), and Brook Alviano (Director of Communications).

Sauci Calla Horra
Founder, Executive Director
Sauci Calla Horra is the Founder and Executive Producer of The Toronto Burlesque Festival. She is also a proud member of Skin Tight Outta Sight Rebel Burlesque, “Canada’s Outlaw Strippers since 1998.” Since her debut performance on Valentine’s Day 2002, Sauci has graced stages all over North America, including the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, Burlesque Festivals in NYC, Montreal, Boston and Vancouver, and large-scale shows in Los Angeles, NYC and across Canada. Sauci is known as a charismatic chameleon. Her performance style ranges from classic and graceful, to punk rock, to just down right wacky! Social worker by day, burlesque vixen by night, Sauci used her community development skills to start The Toronto Burlesque and Vaudeville Alliance in 2003 and has been extensively interviewed by media for her role in the development of the Canadian burlesque scene.
Director of Programming, Creative Director
Coco has been an active member of the Toronto Burlesque Festival production team since its first year, 2008. She is thrilled to have grown into duel roles as the Executive Director of Programming and the Creative Director.
From New York to Los Angeles, Amsterdam to Rome, Coco Framboise is one of the most captivating burlesque and cabaret headliners on the international stage. This diminutive dynamo is known for her dynamic stage presence and larger-than-life signature props. She was invited to perform in Las Vegas at the 20th anniversary of the Burlesque Hall of Fame. Coco was also honoured to be internationally voted to spot number three on 21st Century Burlesque’s list of the Top Ten Canadians in burlesque. She is also recognized as one of the Top Fifty Burlesque Industry Figures in the world!
Coco is the dean of the festival-affiliated Toronto Burlesque University. She is also the visionary founder of the Coco Framboise School of Burlesque.
Director of Digital Media
Known as “The Quintessential Player,” Charlie Quinn is our maverick jane-of-all-trades, designing all of our promotional assets, editing and archiving our images and videos, advising on strategies, and coming up with innovative solutions on the fly. Simply put, we’d be toast without this local burlesque superstar and her arsenal of skills and savvy.
Director of Communications
For over seven years, Brook Alviano has found a home in the Toronto burlesque community, creating leading edge costumes from classic to the extravagant. Since she’d much rather talk about other people than herself, the role of Director of Communications was an easy one for her to fill. When she’s not buried under tulle and satin in her Thunderdome Studio, she’s chasing her young son around and liking all your posts about the Toronto Burlesque Festival.
